Customer Service (Edexcel)

  • Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service (Edexcel)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service (Edexcel)

These are competence based qualifications that is delivered and assessed in the workplace for those involved in a wide variety of customer service activities. The qualifications are part Qualification Credit Framework (QCF) enabling credits achieved to be used as building blocks to other qualifications taken in the future.


They can be assessed in any aspect of customer service, where customers are dealt with face-to-face, via telephone or electronically. They can be assessed where the customers are either internal or external.


The Level 2 Certificate recognises the skills and knowledge required of a skilled employee working in the sector with the Level 3 Diploma recognising additional development, organisational and supervisory skills of a more experienced employee.


The areas covered by the qualification include:

  • Working with others to provide good customer service
  • Handling customer queries, problems and complaints
