Who We Are

Tracy Martin (Chief Executive/Director)

As Chief Executive and a Director of KTL my role can be quite challenging - especially in the current economic climate and with the politics of today's 'training world'. I’ve been here for 3 years managing the day-to-day running of the company, the strategic development of the organisation and growing new business opportunities. Having a strong, experienced and knowledgeable staff team who are able to adapt quickly to the ever changing environment has certainly contributed to our success and sustainability. Prior to taking up the CEO role at KTL I worked as Business Development Manager for an award-winning national training provider. I have extensive, historical sales and management experience predominantly within the media industry at a regional and national level. My interests currently include holidaying in Europe (mainly central and eastern), camping and caring for my pet Shi Tzu 'Otto'.

Bev Rowe (Verifier/Assessor)

I have been employed by Key Training and Learning for over 10 years now, 7 years working as a full time assessor and 3 years as an in-company assessor, delivering a range of NVQ programmes across the East Midlands. I have worked within the textiles industry for over 20 years, and during that time I have gained experience by spending time in all departments of manufacturing, quality and production, before moving into personnel and training, The most I enjoy about my job is working with the learners, whose abilities can range from being newly trained to having a wealth of knowledge and years of experience. (I can learn as much from them as they do me!) The worst part of my job: Well it's got to be travelling up and down the M1! (how many cones does this country have?)

Chris Hayman (Quality and Curriculum Manager)

I have been employed by Key Training & Learning Ltd for nearly 15 years. As Quality and Curriculum Manager my main responsibilities are to ensure that all the programmes we deliver suit the needs of employers and their employees and that the quality of our delivery meets all the standards required to meet awarding and funding body requirements. Prior to joining KTL, I worked for a training provider for 10 years delivering within the upholstery and furniture industry.I enjoy working in manufacturing companies and helping people achieve their own aspirations enabling them develop to their full potential. Outside work I have an unhealthy obsession with Ice Hockey and the Nottingham Panthers which bores all my colleagues to death and to be honest anyone else that I can get to listen to me!

Pauline Thomas (Office Administrator)

I have been employed by KTL for four years as Office Administrator. My main duties and responsibilities include administration support for the team, liaising with the awarding bodies and funding partners, and maintaining the learner records and employer files along with the company database. Previous roles include secretarial and administration for the medical profession/occupational health and accounts work within the building trade and building sales/rentals. In my spare time I enjoy walking and also researching my family history.

Janet Cooper (Finance Administrator)

I have been employed by Key Training & Learning Ltd as Finance Administrator for six and a half years. My key role with the company is the responsibility for all aspects of the financial administration. My previous employment has been mainly in this capacity and for many years within the textile industry, also incorporating factory management experience. I very much enjoy my position within KTL, and like being part of a friendly team working together taking the company forward. My particular interests outside of work include Oil painting, fund raising charity work, local politics and enjoying family life.
